Pastor Peggy is the Pastor here at HCLC. She started in January 2022. She is ordained in the United Church of Christ (UCC) and because of a shared communion between the ELCA Lutheran Church and the UCC church, HCLC was able to call her as their pastor. Pastor Peggy grew up Lutheran and has a deep connection to her faith roots.
She is originally from Wisconsin, where most of her family lives. Her undergrad is from the University of Wisconsin - Madison with a degree in Gender and Women Studies with a minor in Science. Pastor Peggy graduated from United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities with her Master of Divinity in 2017. She then moved to NJ after accepting her first call. After 4 years serving as an Associate Pastor, she is excited to lead at Holy Counselor. Outside of work, Pastor enjoys kayaking, hiking, traveling, playing games, reading, and watching TV.
