Guidelines for Worship During the Pandemic (updated 6/25/22)
In accordance with the CDC's directives, masks are still recommended at all times for anyone not fully vaccinated.
We require that EVERYONE wear masks indoors when the Community Risk Level
for Sussex County is deemed by the CDC to be HIGH. When the risk is
MODERATE masks are still suggested. When the risk is LOW masks are
optional. See what the current level is before heading to church by
using this COVID Tracker Link. There will also be signs on the doors
noting what the level is that day. Please be mindful of where you have
been and who you have been around if you choose to not wear a mask when
it isn’t required. Please join us for worship online, streamed live to our Facebook page, if you are sick
instead of joining us in person. We want to keep everyone safe and
healthy.
During July and August our 9:30 service is held outdoors in
our chapel behind the church when weather permits. Parking in the rear
is limited so please use the front parking lot if walking is not an
issue. This saves the rear spaces for those who benefit from them the
most.
Our worship service includes Holy Communion and live music and singing.
Communion is once again now shared through the distribution of individual
hosts, (gluten-free also available,) and red wine or white grape juice distributed in
individual disposable glasses.
We look forward to you joining us!
