Group Worship at Holy Counselor Lutheran Church

Our Sunday morning service is being held at 9:30AM and when supply pastors are available, includes Holy Communion. We have purchased individual communion kits to aid with the sanitary administering of Holy Communion. Please note that gluten-free wafers are unavailable.

Our parking lot drive-in services have now ended as we resume using our outdoor chapel behind the church building. Our services now once again include live music and group singing! Covid-19 vaccinated attendees are not required to wear masks but are asked to respect the desires of others who may not yet be comfortable with unmasked people around them. Unvaccinated attendees are required to wear masks and continue the practice of social distancing, remaining at least 6 feet away from others. If you aren't vaccinated, it's as easy as clicking here to find a location, using the NJ appointment finder. The service will still also be transmitted on FM 104.9 which can be received by radios when you are on or near the church property.

Please be aware that parking in the rear of the building is very limited and you may not be able to find a place to park that allows you to listen on your car radio and view the chapel area. We ask that you DO NOT PARK ON THE GRASS. There are propane lines and septic components underground that could be damaged by vehicle weight. If you are not remaining in your car for the service, please park in the front lot if you are physically able to walk from there to the chapel, and save the rear lot spaces for those who are listening in their cars. Communion kits will be brought over to the cars.

The service will be held indoors in the sanctuary when there is inclement weather. Please bring a mask to wear when indoors even if you are vaccinated. We may be curtailing singing during these indoor services as well.

Remember, if you are experiencing symptoms of illness you should still remain home regardless of whether you have been vaccinated or whether we are outdoors or indoors.
Anyone that is not yet ready enough to return to a group setting can continue to gather for worship through YouTube, (video playback worship info here). We want the members of our congregation to know they are valued as active participants in the life of the church whenever they choose to return in person, or continue to gather virtually. If you have any questions or concerns please contact the church office or reach out to any council member. For our church council directory click here. We continue to strive to successfully carry on our ministry together and we look forward to continuing Christ’s work together with you in the months and years ahead.
Peace and good health be with you all.
